Orthophotos are only as good as the DEM that is used to create them. At J.R. Canadian Mapping we excel at DEM creation at any scale so that all features are correctly rectified in the orthophoto. Bridges and roads are true, and there is no smearing of the pixels.

Our orthophotos can be directly applied in GIS or mapping applications such as: land use and land-cover classification, terrain analysis, natural resource mapping, and image backdrops for maps.

Our basic orthophoto with automated colour correction, enhancement, and mosaicing is inexpensive and perfect for fieldwork. We also provide manually enhanced orthophotos and mosaics, free of imperfections, for the most demanding client at the most reasonable cost.
